Adam Payne is a musician from Athens. He says the band has always been called The Adam Payne Band because they were never clever enough to coin a cool name.
Payne has been playing his songwriter-folk blend music on stages across the Southeast since 1997. He has been cataloging and illustrating his experiences every step of the way. The band always brings a darker and more focused palette to the music. He recorded “Sorry, Please Try Again” in 1999 and “Untitled’” in 2007.
The Adam Payne Band will perform 4 p.m. Sunday on The Green Room stage.
