Rachel O’Neal
Rachel O’Neal started her musical career as a lead vocalist in a variety of bands in the early 1990’s, but has of late been honing her craft as a songwriter and solo acoustic performer based in Athens.
The reception she has gotten at her acoustic shows prompted her to get into the studio and record a fully produced version of the collection of original songs she has been playing live. The culmination of her efforts is Rachel’s debut record, “Getaway”. This record is an eclectic blend of indie-rock, jazz, and southern-tinged Americana.
