Dr. Arvin Scott is an award-winning, multi-instrumentalist, composer, motivational, youth program founder/director and a university professor with a track record that spans nearly 40 years.
He has experience in classic R&B, jazz, African, Caribbean and Brazilian genres, which all contribute to his World Beat project. Influences on his music include James Brown, Carlos Santana, Mickey Hart and Widespread Panic. He has received multiple Flagpole Athens Music Awards.
