Brad Downs and The Poor Bastard Souls
Brad Downs, a Mississippi Delta native, is a singer/songwriter who now lives in Athens. He writes and performs Americana and country-rock songs with his band, an able crew of Athens’ music veterans, including Paul “Crumpy” Edwards on bass, William Tonks playing electric guitars and dobro and Randy Durham on drums.
Brad recently released Winter Breathing, his debut album that features special guests from bands such as Widespread Panic, R.E.M., Drive-by Truckers, Bloodkin and the Hackensaw boys.
Brad Downs and The Poor Bastard Souls will play 8:10 p.m. Saturday on the outdoor stage.
