706 was formed in 2007 by Clarke Middle School students. The band started with William Kissane (vocals, drums, keyboard) and Jake Cona (lead guitar). Since then, Foster Gorman (bass) and Henry Siebentritt (keyboards) have joined the band.
Soulful vocals and technical perfection brings a youthful, yet determined dimension to each song 706 performs. Their originals are unique and compelling and like the songs they choose to cover, they defy genre classification. The band admits they take in everything right now with open minds, but they will name: R.E.M., The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton and Led Zepplin. All four members are currently freshmen at Clarke Central High School.
706 will perform Saturday on the outside stage at 11:50 a.m.
