3 Foot Swagger, a local Athens band born from members of Melodious Ground and freelance guitarist Dave Cardello, started as an invitation to play at a North Georgia river outpost almost two years ago. A year later, the band recorded their first demo, “Odd Numbers”, and played in live environments as much as possible.
Today, through the use of patience and moments of improvisation and experimentation, the band has developed an amazing brand of rock ‘n roll that seemed to traverse in the realms of funk, bluegrass, psychedelia and folk.
3 Foot Swagger will perform 8:40 p.m. Saturday on The Green Room stage.
